How does PepeProxy work?
When you generate proxies through our platform, you receive authentication credentials that allow your requests to be routed through our residential IP network. Each request can use a different IP (rotating) or maintain the same IP for a duration (sticky sessions).
What makes residential proxies different from datacenter proxies?
Residential proxies use IP addresses assigned by ISPs to real residential devices, making them appear as regular home internet users. Datacenter proxies use IPs from cloud providers and are easier to detect and block. Residential proxies have:

How is traffic calculated?
Traffic includes both upload and download data:
- Request headers and body
- Response headers and body
- TCP/IP protocol overhead
For example, a simple web page load (HTML + CSS + images) typically uses 1-2 MB of traffic.
Do credits expire?
No, your balance never expires. Use it at your own pace - there are no monthly commitments or subscription fees.
Can I get a refund?
Due to the nature of our service (immediate digital delivery), we cannot offer refunds on consumed traffic. However, we offer:
- Free testing tier to try before you commit
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- No expiration on your balance
How do volume discounts work?
Volume discounts are applied automatically based on your lifetime total traffic:
- 0-99 GB: $5/GB (standard rate)
- 100+ GB: $4/GB (20% discount)
Once you reach 100 GB of total usage, all future traffic is billed at the discounted rate.
Proxy Configuration
What’s the difference between HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS5 proxies?
- HTTP/HTTPS: Standard web protocol, works with most applications, libraries, and browsers. Best for web scraping and API calls.
- SOCKS5: Lower-level protocol that supports any type of traffic (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, P2P). More flexible but requires additional setup.
For most users, HTTP/HTTPS is the recommended choice.
When should I use rotating vs sticky sessions?
Use rotating sessions when:
- Scraping large amounts of data
- You want a fresh IP for every request
- Running distributed tasks
- Maximum anonymity is needed
Use sticky sessions when:
- Managing accounts or login flows
- Shopping cart sessions
- Form submissions
- You need consistent identity for 1-20 minutes
How long do sticky sessions last?
You can specify sticky session duration when generating proxies:
- Minimum: 1 minute
- Maximum: 20 minutes
- Recommended: 5-10 minutes for most use cases
Can I target specific locations?
Yes! PepeProxy supports three levels of targeting:
- Country-level: Target any of 200+ countries
- Region/State-level: Narrow to specific regions
- City-level: Maximum precision for city-specific needs
You can also optionally target specific ISPs (Internet Service Providers).
How many proxies can I generate?
There’s no hard limit on the number of proxies you can generate, as long as you have sufficient balance to cover the traffic allocation. Each proxy requires a minimum of 1 MB traffic allocation.
Can I use the same proxy multiple times?
Yes! Once you generate proxies, you can use them until their traffic allocation is consumed. For sticky sessions, you can make multiple requests with the same IP during the session duration.

What proxy format do you use?
Proxies are provided in standard format:

Do you support IPv6?
Currently, we only support IPv4 addresses. IPv6 support is planned for future releases.
What user agents should I use?
We recommend using realistic, up-to-date user agents that match the browser/device you’re simulating:
